We need your help to make a generational change to how people recover and survive following a stroke, car accident, fall, or any other unexpected physical injury.

100% of your donation goes towards providing education to health workers and assessments and rehabilitation treatments to people in remote villages that would otherwise receive no professional support.

Why this is important?

No rehabilitation service exists in Fiji
Fiji is our Pacific neighbour, only 3 hours away by plane
We can make a difference to our Fijian neighbours by educating their health workers and helping persons living with disabilities

CCR is a small not-for-profit organisation managed by full time health professionals. At this stage given our work and focus is in entirely in Fiji we cannot provide ‘Gift Deductable Receipts’.

How you can help CCR in 2014:

$1000 – VILLAGE. Provides comprehensive rehabilitation assessments, treatments, education and follow up to one village (14 villages in total). You will receive a personalised photo and message from the village. $1000 – WORKPLACE ASSESSMENTS. Comprehensive assessments of accessible working conditions for employees hoping to return to work following an injury. You will receive a photo of the employee and message from therapist on how you helped. $500 – EDUCATION. Provides one comprehensive rehabilitation training session for local nurses including resources and assessment kits (4 sessions in total). You will receive a personalised photo and message from local nurses. $200 – EDUCATION. Provides one on one practical training session within the village to a local nurse. You will receive a photo and personalised message from the sponsored nurse. $100 – ASSESSMENTS/ TREATMENT. Provides intensive assessment, therapy and education for complex patients. You will receive a message from the therapist advising how you helped. $50 – NEUROLOGICAL THERAPY. Provides one therapy session including education on disability. You will receive a photo of the person helped. $50 – VISION. Provides vision assessment and glasses to a person living in the village and education about eye health. You will receive a photo of the person helped.

We are open to any ideas you may have, or sponsored products that can help make our project not only more affordable, but also more meaningful to the Fijian people. This could include items to raffle, children’s books (infant and school age) for us to distribute, or other goods or services you think could be useful.
